Entry Level Industrial Construction Technician

SFC Tec Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Industrial Construction Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for safely performing industrial construction, maintenance, and repair work while assisting in the successful completion of commercial and industrial projects.
No previous experience is required. We are willing to train candidates who have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial material processing systems
- Installation of pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMBs)
- Structural steel erection
- Conveyor, piping, and equipment installation
- Plant maintenance and shutdown work
- Industrial repairs and modifications
- General fabrication and construction support
- Material handling using forklifts, telehandlers, and aerial lifts
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean job site
- Following company safety procedures and OSHA requirements
Must Have
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to pass required background checks if needed for customer sites
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well as part of a team
Nice to have
- OSHA 10 or 30
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Experience in construction, welding, mechanical maintenance, or industrial work is a plus but not required
- MSHA
